My little bundle of joy was due June 6th but she came early on May 31st. Even though she was born in May, in my heart she's a June baby :-).
I was induced a week early becasue of my blood pressure. This is my first baby and I thought (from going to lamaze class) that my labor would be 18-24 hours long. My labor was 8 hours from the time I arrived at the hospital to the time I deleivered her. I did receive an epidural however it only worked on the right side of my body (of course the Dr. had to do it twice which still did not work completely) so I felt every contraction on half my body and it was painful.
My husband was great. I thought he would pass out but he was very engaged and supportive. Anyway it was worth it because in the end I got my beautiful baby girl. In short, I think I would like to do it again one day. ;-).
