Cute Question from soon to be big brother

hi all,

I have a son that is turning 5 in March. He i so excited about his baby sister that is on the way. He keeps calling her "my baby".

Yesterday we were sitting on the couch and he poked at my boob and said "mommy, there is milk in there for the baby". So i said yes
He then said that the baby must drink all the milk up to get big and strong like him. I agreed.
Then the question: " Mommy, can i also have some of that milk?"

So cute; you could see that he new the answer would be no, but thought he would try his luck anyway. And then he decided himslef that it was milk for babys and he is a big brother now not a baby any more.

I am so greatful that he is so excited about this baby, i just hope he feels the same once she arrives.

Aww, that is so cute!  He's gonna be such a sweet big brother!  I distinctly remember when I was 4 and my sister was born, my mother asked me if I wanted to try the breast milk and I was repulsed!  LOL  I said no and thought it would be disgusting.  Maybe boys react differently. :-)  My son will only be 18 months when my daughter is born, so he'll be pretty clueless as to what's going on.  Though, lately, he'll see me rubbing my belly and he'll rub it..like maybe he knows something is up.  :-)
