So I just wanted to see if anyone else is or has gone through this before. I am now 21 weeks pregnant and have suffered 2 major gallbladder attacks of which i was dx with gallstones. I have had minor ones that i could manage at home but the 2 were so severe that i had to go to the ER. They gave me morphine and zofran while i was in the hospital. They discharged me with percocet. I didn't feel comfortable taking that so i just would suffer through until tuesday night i had another attack i just had to try it rather then go to ER. Wednesday i was very uneasy and completely out of it. I have never taken percs and don't think they agreed with me. Thursday night i had a much more severe attack and ended up at the ER again. They gave me morphine and sent me home with morphine orally. So here i am writing to see if im the only one in the situation. I have tried managing my food but i have always loved food and finding it very hard. I haven't eaten fried food at all. but i still get attacks. Im soooo depressed over this. My poor DH has to lose sleep along with me in the ER. Im meeting with a surgeon on monday although they still wont operate on me, im sure he wants to measure them or something. SUGGESTIONS like home remedies or any advice apart from the obvious low fat please let me know..
