My babyboy is 6 weeks old hes feeding 4oz every 3 hours.. Hes starting to sleep 6 hours thru night and wanting to feed every 2 and half hours. He seems hungier but my health visitor is saying not to move him up another ounce? He was 9lb nearly when born.. Hes 11lb 4oz now??

my baby was 9 lb and 7oz last visit he only gets 3 oz every 3 to 4 hrs but thats cus he has reflux and cus he has to have rice mixed w/his milk to make his thick enough for him to keep it down! He sleeps all night though i can put him down at 1030 pm and he ll sleep till 7 am!!  you could do the rice as well that will make him more full and he ll sleep longer too! my dr recommended 1 tsp per 2 oz of milk i add one extra spoon on top of this to make sure its thick enough but you ll have to cut the nipple hole on the bottle just a tad so the baby can get it out! my son was 6 or 7 wks when he went on rice!

Oh and mia sleeps from about 10pm till 7/8am. Thats if she has a late last bottle,  otherwise she wakes at about 3/4am for one and then straight back to sleep till 8/9. Hope you mummas are getting some sleep!

At 8weeks and 1day he weights 12lbs 12oz 26 in long ..only  breastfed ...eats more than 8 times a day for more than 30 min... :(
The dr recommend me vitamins .. He only recommended vitamins because I told her he didn't want to drink formula ..my ped doesn't complain about his weight gain at all..at birth he weight 7lbs 14 oz 19.5 in
I just bought different bottles with a larger nipple ..see if he drinks formula because he never gets full with the breastmilk..so I have to be breastfeeding him constantly and it's really difficult cuz I have two other kids 2 1/2, 6 year old and now a 10 week old baby ... ;/ he sleeps about 6 hrs without waking up at night but he does sleep with me at night in the same bed :(
I get to hug him all night. :) lol

My girl wasnt getting enough from the boob either. She was never settled and i was so frustrated. I just wasnt making enough. Im lucky that she took to formula and a bottle straight away. Lol. That was at 4 weeks. Much both happier. I think as long as they are eating, and happy and content who cares how much they are having.
