heart palptations and breathlessness

so im nearly 38 weeks, and i cant wait to have my little one here. But past few days i've been having really bad heart palptations like i did when i was first pregnant and i find it hard to catch my breath. Thing is i loose my breath from just sitting or lying down its never when im up and about doing stuff. Is this normal for the last weeks of pregnancy?? I mean i know they are getting all squashed up in there, but jeeeze... Help??

I had that when I was pregnant and for about 2 weeks after birth. I asked my doctor and he said that as long as they didn't last more that 10 min then I was fine. I too would lose my breath but he said that the baby was just sqeezing everything!!! If you are still concerned then call your doctor.

I know that I get them when Im standing up sometimes. They come out of no where. My Ob-gyn said its normal, but you get to the point of passing out than its not good. I notice mine after Ive been walking through the store. Maybe ask your doctor.
