Going thru the same thing, sometimes I force myself to eat and it makes me sick, I started a prescription called diclectin and it helped for a while but now I'm back to square one. Sometimes I even gag over nothing & that triggers me to get sick again...ugh! Oh also, I was exactly 8 weeks on the 17th too :)

I am 11.5 weeks now, but I have had horrible morning sickness since about 5 weeks. I finally talked to my doctor about it after trying every home remedy on the planet. They gave me Zofran to take every 8 hours to help prevent the nausea. It has worked like magic for me! It has been proven safe during pregnancy and they prescribed it in a pill form that melts in your mouth so that it does not upset my stomach. My advice is, if you are concerned about anything just call your doctor's office and ask. They deal with these things everyday! Goodluck.

Yes it's normal. I am going through the same problem also. I know it's hard, but just make sure you are not starving yourself, and that you are eating enough nutrients every day. I find that eating fruit and drinking fruit smoothies doesn't make me nauseated. I also drink Ensure to help me get all my daily doses of nutrients that I may have missed. And make sure you are taking prenatal vitamins too.
