Leaking fluid 37+5

So thursday night I lost my mucous plug and then friday I started leaking fluid every time I went to the bathroom and then I started getting contractions that actually were painful! So I went to the hospital and my contractions weren't close enough and I'm only 2 CM and they said I wasn't leaking fluid (they did the swab test). But then I woke up still leaking fluid! This happened to my mom with me and I got an infection. Has this happend to anyone else? Should I go back?

I know it wasn't urine they smell waay different. I'm going to go back to the hospital tomorrow and have them do an ultrasound to make sure she has enough fluid in there. I've talked to a few people who said they were leaking and the drs did the swab said they were and their baby got an infection just like what happened to my mom with me.!

Yes I agree with hjkj2013! It is not worth it to worry. And worrying too much is not good for baby either!

I think anytime you don't feel right about what they say ask for a second opinion. You're paying for the service and answers...make sure you're satisfied with the answers so you don't spend time worrying and making yourself sick.

That happened to me when I was about 2cm also. I thought my water had broke but they tested the fluid and it was not amniotic fluid. Turns out the baby was sitting on my bladder and I really could not control it! I would wake up in the middle of the night having to change my pants. This went away once the baby got into the birth canal and into position. I did not get an infection, but if you are worried I would call your dr.
