whens a good time to see an ob

I recently decided to take a first response pregnancy test (gives reading up to 6 days before your period) ,which came out postive instantly but havet missed my first period yet .should I schedule a ob gyn  appointment

YAY!!!! CONGRATS usually your 1st appt is 8weeks. I would call your doctor now bacause u will have to take a test in office so they can confirm.

Thanks ladies I actually did end up going to see a Ob and it turns out we def are expecting but I have to go back in a week to get a second blood test to make sure the hcg level is rising as it should ,im extremely early so in about two Weeks she will preform a sono.on me which would put me at my sixth week !!! Yayyyy im so excited

i was told that best leave until you had your first dating scan between 6 and 10 weeks. your gp can look after you before you find an ob

If you make an appointment now, I would make it for when your atleast about 6 weeks ...then if they do an ultrasound,  you can hear the heart beat :)
