34 weeks nod overwhelmed by work

I've been trying so hard to go in every day and to get as much done as I can, but I'm just so tired and hate how stressed out I start to feel.  So today I'm using a sick day and am just relaxing!  I feel a bit guilty but I hope this way I'll feel more refreshed and productive for the rest of the week.

Anyone else having trouble keeping up with the day to day stuff late in pregnancy?

I'm 33 weeks and up until 31 weeks I was working 4-5 10+ hour shifts a week. Now I am down to two 8 hour shifts and one 4 hour shift a week until 37 weeks when I start maternity leave. I also bartend on my feet the whole time with no breaks and no food :( . 3 more weeks and nd I'm done working!  Can't wait!

Gosh I couldn't work up to the last week. I guess it depends were your from to when you can leave for maternity and how long you can have off xx I left at 32 weeks and I can claim maternity pay for 39weeks xx

I also work 12 hour shifts (night shifts too) as a health care aide at the hospital on the floor. I wish I could take maternity leave early but unless stated by my doctor I have to work up until the week im due (unless I go into labor early). Which I pray I do because I dont know how much longer I can take of this..hah.

I work mostly at a desk.  I manage some people and have a lot of work that I need to drive (that is, most of the time no one is giving me deadlines, I need to be self-motivated).  I can't keep up with my own expectations very well, and worry that I am letting others down!  But you can't get blood from a stone, on the days I'm exhausted, I get very little accomplished.  I don't like it when that guilt turns into stress and negative emotions, I don't want to stress out my little baby in utero!

It`s amazing how daily tasks seem so burdensome now. I have a desk job but I still get swollen feet and work stress doesn't help. Walking up and down stairs at work is hard too. @bubblebaybii I'm not even sure how you were able to do 12 hour shifts...you're a trooper.
