Getting induced?

So my due date was originally the 23rd of June but now I'm scheduled to be induced on Thursday the 26th, I go into the hospital at 8 PM and my doctor said he should definitely be here by Friday the 27th. I'm really excited to now know a definite date he'll be here. But a little nervous about being induced being that I never really read much about it or looked into it.. My question is how much harder is it on you than a "regular" birth (baby coming on their own) How long with the process take? How much worst are the contractions (I did read somewhere that when being induced the contractions can be worst)
What is exactly will happen from the time I go into the hospital up until when my baby boy is born..
Any details at all would be greatly appreciated (: I'm clueless on this subject lol.

I was induced And ot hurt worse than my first. Induction sometimes tends to go a lil faster than normal also though so make sure u ask for the epideral right away of u are wanting one. I asked too late and ended up with nothing for pain.

My sister was induced let alone she used an epi and was a month early so baby was only 4 lbs so it was an easy labor. But she was brought in at 4pm and didn't have baby until 11am the next day. Her doctor inserted a balloon to start helping her dialate and then broke her water when the balloon fell out. Once she was dialated to a certain point (she came in with no dialation) they gave her pitocin to start her contractions. She has a very very low pain tolerance but even with her epi she claims she didn't feel anything but again the baby was only 4lbs as well.
