Depressed over weight gain....

I didn't have any morning sickness so my first trimester I just ate like crazy and gained a lot. Now I'm almost 28 weeks and gained 34 pounds so far. I still have 12 more weeks to go! I'm trying to eat healthier to try to slow down the weight gain, but even if I only gain one pound per week at this point I will be gaining 46 overall. My doctor said last time I saw him I was on target for 50! I have kept working out but only about once our twice a week, which is not enough, but now I'm just tired all the time, don't want to move....argh! I hope this baby is not too big =/

Thank you! I am trying to eat better, I have not been eating as good as I used to before the pregnancy. I can't let this get me down to much...But sometimes is hard to step on that scale

Water, water, water. The more water you take in, the more water your body releases, thus effecting the scale. I'd literally watched the scale go down 5 lbs in 2 days because I incorporated more water into my daily regimen. I saw the bloat all on my cheeks, it's gone now and I feel better. I've gained 20lbs, I'm 26 weeks. I gained 68 lbs my first pregnancy! Definitely trying to prevent that this go around!

Im in the same boat. Im 28 weeks and started at 122lbs and now at 147. I still have 12 weeks so im pretty terrified. I could eat better but the moment i got pregnant salads and veggies make me so nauseous.

Just so you know..i have eaten healthy, exercised the entire time, was nauseous the whole first trimester and have still gained 30 lbs. Nothing I could have done and my doctor isn't worried he said if you are trying than that's all you can do. So please you are not alone momma!! Get active again right after delivering and count calories and you'll be back at it. I lost all my 50 lbs plus some after my first.
