Leg cramps anyone?

I've just been awoken by my first a 5-10 minute leg cramp. It felt like someone was ripping my muscle off of my bone. I couldn't take the pain anymore and bursted out screaming. Now I'm afraid to go back to sleep cause it might happen again. Anybody else experiencing this and has a solution that works to stop it or prevent it?

Yep has happened with all 3 of my pregnancies so far. Make sure you're drinking enough water eat a banana or two a day and try some leg stretches before going to bed. I've found once I get one the only cure is to walk it off good luck

They are basically charlie horses and we are suppose to get them more during the second trimester ugh!!! While u are having one try to point your toes up towards u while laying on your back or have ur partner rub it out while its happening thats usually whats makes it go away quicker....potassium intake is great for these too like bananas. Hope it helps hun!
