Not sure how to handle this

my sister in law was due June 26th and I was due June 24th, we are both delivering at the same hospital and I was told that the hospital doesn't induce before 10 days over due without a medical reason. My induction has been booked for July 6th which will put me 12 days over and I was just informed my sister in law is being induced tomorrow which will make her 6days over due and their is no medical reason. I am expierencing so many feeling mostly anger and I don't know how I will handle going to see her and her baby when I am still pregnant, I am happy for her but I am angry with the hospital and doctors and their is nothing I can do about it. I don't really know what my question is I just needed to vent I guess.

Don't feel bad, your baby is getting more nutrients being inside you longer. You don't know that she doesn't have a medical issue. The longer you can hold baby in so he/she can grow and develop the lungs a bit more the better. Don't envy her because before you know it baby will be running around and making a mess. Don't rush it. Good luck.

You could call your doctor's advice nurse and ask what is happening such that both of you are overdue and you have to wait so much longer than someone else you know.

There is no law that you have to go see her in the hospital when you are still pregnant.  A pregnant woman who is overdue can cite any number of reasons not to go anywhere and walk around and expose herself to germs and all.
