Spirulina in pregnancy
Hello everyone. I would like to know if there are any mothers here take spirulina supplements during pregnancy/breastfeeding? Cant really find a good source of info about it on Google...
I took it will hen TTC but stopped when pregnant. Your prenatal vitamins are enough. Your body cannot absorbe everything anyway. I was also told spirulina is not recommended in pregnancy
I worked at Jamba juice who puts spirulina in our smoothies and juices and we were told to tell pregnant women it is not recommended unless your doctor tell you otherwise. I would definitely call a nurse hotline or your doctor
