@Laurah, have you tried Pedialyte freezer pops? DS and I enjoy it more than the pedialyte or Gaterade. I had to drink slowly from straw too, or I would throw up. The freezer pop is much easier.
Annie, I am from the Saginaw area. Kinser I took tylenol for my higher temps. I have been taking robitussin cf for the coughs. I have to see the doc tomorrow because of the fever over a week and my bad cough. I have to feed my 5 year old daughter pedialite by the tablespoon since she was having trouble holding anything down. My 22 month old is nearly over it and my husband too.
I came down with the flu on Christmas Eve. Had a 101 degree temperature, cough, Body aches and head congestion. I took Tylenol products, robitussin, and cough drops. The fever broke quickly and I'm feeling better, but I'm worried about baby. Anyone have similar experiences?
Cool. I used to live in East Lansing when DH (BF then) worked in Warren 15 years ago. We the moved together to Brighton. Michigan has our sweetest memories.
Thank you. This flu is horrible, I am from Michigan and people around my area are coming down with it. Influenze a I have heard. I hope you and your family get healthy too.
Sorry, Laura, you're still sick. I spiked a 102.5 fever since 12/24 and am still running a 101 fever today... Really achy, dizzy, and weak with awful sore throat and headaches. This flu is pretty awful. I usually will start to feel better after 3 days, but not this time. Will see my OB tomorrow. No advice. Just blessings. Hang in there. It will pass. Wish everyone starts to feel better soon.
