incompetent cervix

Anyone else have an incompetent cervix?
Im due june 16 and now on bed rest

I found out as my cervix was funneling so it was basically weakening under the pressure of the baby, i would recommend always getting your cervix measured and making sure your staying within the 3.5-5cm (or what your gyno says is safe) just to be confident in your pregnancy
Thats exactly what im doing at the moment i have the cerclage and just got a scan today

Currently I'm on bed rest, just try to be careful don't do too much. If u feel any discomfort go to the doctor. Last week I was in the hospital in preterm labor I was only 25 weeks at the time. They had to give me magnesium to stop labor and steroid shots for the baby lungs. I wish u ladies a safe pregnancy we're almost there.

I have an incompetent cervix also, when I went for my 20 week scan I was told my cervix was short so the doctor told me to go to the hospital immediately. When I get to the hospital and they check my cervix it was actually open the doctor told me she could see the baby membrane. The next day I did the cerclage,  so far it's holding up.

I also lost our first at 20 weeks am now 25 weeks, trying to be confident..to those who have done this before how many weeks were you and did you go into labour naturally? I also have the cerclage stitch..

I lost my last two babies in the second trimester. I am now 24 weeks.

I do. I had cerclage placed at 16wks.pelvic rest, no sex. Yet I am not on bed rest.

My sister had it. She got a cerclage stitch and was placed on bed rest. It worked and she now has a 6 month old daughter :) no worries

I do, im on light bedrest right now. And due the 28th, but usually go a week or two late.
