Just got my first Brazilian last night!!-not as bad as I thought the pain would be. Now I don't have to worry to bend in awkward positions to shave!!
That's why I did it can't see and don't have the energy to try and do it myself. And there is less ans less hair each time
I haven't been able to look down since 20ish weeks!! I'll be 32w in two days. I gave up and am booking a waxing appt next week- then I won't have to worry about it for another 4-6w lol. Saves me the energy!!
Problem is that ig you do not shave or wax before going in, they do it for you and some of them do not care. They have to do this, because hair can csuse septicemia, which can lead to death, should a hair fall into a wound and they stitch it up.
This is not just for c-section patients, as you never know what is hoing to happen during birth and if they will need to snip you.
Good luck ladies.
Wow I'd definitely be afraid of waxing...Got my brows waxed once and it hurt like the dickens. I usually shave, but I'm really starting not to care but it's kinda getting outta control. Thank u ladies for all the comments!!
It doesn't itch. And it hurts at first but not too bad
I bought an electronic one for $20 on amazon. It's amazing! No more patches for me lol
Won't it itch? Does it hurt?
Go get waxed. Best idea ever. I go back next week and there is barely any hair that has grown back.
I'm not worried about the doctors really, more worried about my partner seeing me ungroomed down there during birth.
I use scissors and a full length mirror. But an electric trimmer might be good too. I wouldn't get waxed, ouch! So much more blood down there means more pain and you don't want to have to deal with being itchy as the hair grows back, ON TOP of having stiches and whatever down there. Yeah, not worth it!! Plus I'm sure doctors have seen it all and they don't care.
My hubby helped me once, but I was so tired afterwards. I've decided to trim it with an electrical trimmer next week and then go for a wax in week 39/40 if baby doesn't decide to come sooner. Then it will be the nurse's problem and not mine.
I go and get waxed way worth it. It's smooth as a babys bottom
Yeah I just did this today, used my electric trimmer and had him help me... There were some close calls on nicks but i just can't deal with all that hair
I'm 30 Week and barely able to see it. I will start waxing soon.
I feel around as i shave and then my husband helps me with the spots i miss
Get an electric shaver. Stand in front of a mirror. Put a paper towel on the floor to collect the hair. This way saves your back
Just get a wax its what I been doing this whole pregnancy.
My husband shaved it a few times for me and other times I use a propped up mirror in the bathroom but now that I'm getting super big, I'm quickly losing patience and don't really care anymore.
My husband does mine. He uses hair clippers through. This way no knicks or cuts
I sit in the tub with the shower on and so it
I have had my husband help out. Love him.
I have to feel aroumd in the shower to shave it. I guarentee u there's patches down there. Haha! I can't see a single thing. 32 weeks. I'm about to just give up n let it grow out completley then aroumd 40 weeks shave it off with a electrical raiser somehow
Lmao I feel like same way. The last thing I tried was putting a towel under me and trimming with scissors in front of the mirror. I'm not use to hair at all so I plan on getting a way within the next two weeks.
