tanning question..

I know tanning is bad for u in general. I have fair skin and my hubby and I are going on a vaca next month. I usually go tanning a few times so   I dont get burnt. U think its ok to go a few times before we go?

I actually was told i can do it by my midwife. In moderation of course I would ask your doctor none of us are physicians.

Although you usually do it to avoid burning I recommend not tanning while pregnant and I think they ask if you're pregnant when you sign up for a tanning membership because it's not the safest

I'm fair and hate and tan when I'm not Prego but now I use the sublime loreal tanning lotion a self tanner and love it!! Will use it after baby too! No more beds for me! The airbrush works really good too

If u were a face mask while getting a spray tan its fine. Its just sugar cane most of it. Spending a day in traffic or the city is more harmful then getting one spray tan.

Definitely not worth harming the baby! Thanks for the advice :)

Even "all natural" doesn't necessarily mean "safe"

Actually, spray tans contain chemicals that could be equally harmful to your baby if inhaled. Seriously, err on the side of caution - your baby's health is infinitely more important.

There's a place by me that does all natural spray tans, would that help prevent me from getting burnt?

Get a spray tan! Many of these are fine.

No. Please don't do it. As the daughter of a melanoma survivor, tanning is SO BAD for you. I don't even want to think about what it would do to your unborn baby. If you feel like you absolutely MUST have dark skin, use self tanner. But the rest - tanning beds, spray tans, etc. - are a big no-no when pregnant.

Probably not the best idea. Its terrj le for you when your not pregnant and while you are pregnant you are even more sensitive to things
