Pre-pregnancy weight is key. If you're overweight it is healthier for you and baby to gain as little as possible but if you were within normal range or even underweight, the doctor will probably be ok with you gaining more. I was really overweight pre-pregnancy so I'm hoping to gain no more than 20#. So far @ 33+1 because I got sick early on and lost weight, I've only gained 3.4# over my pre-pregnancy weight. Best of luck.
I'm 31 weeks and I've gained about 30lbs. Since its been nice out it's been alot easier to slow the weight gain just by walking my dog. So I'm not too concerned. My doctor did notice a big jump in my weight between my last two appts and mentioned that I need to slow down.
Man this makes me feel super depressed! I have gained way way to much weight. I have been gaining more than I should all the time =( by the end of the pregnancy I'll probably be at 50....
I'm 31 weeks and have gained 25 my doctor isn't worried about my weight he says I'm doing good
I'm 33 weeks and only gained about 15lbs
I am 30 weeks and have gained 8lb but I started at 170 and am 5' 5" so my doctor is happy with my weight gain, it completely depends on pre pregnancy weight and height.
So far I have gained 19 lb at 31 weeks. I hope to gain only 30 total. We shall see. Im having a hard time waking for exercise because of braxton hicks. I couldn't wait until spring arrived to walk but now it's becoming too hard to walk
As hb2015 said it depends on your prepregnacy weight. My prepregnacy weight was 115, now 31+ wks I'm 139, I've gained about 25 lbs. my dr said I'm doing fine w weight. I've had the same dr for awhile, he delivered my last baby. Last pregnancy I gained a total of 32 lbs. my 1st pregnancy I gained 27 lbs. & my last 2 babies weighed around 7//8 lbs. Just pay attention to what U eat. I went through a wk, I was starving & wanted carbs & sweets. I added a few too many lbs. now I pay attention a little more to what I'm eating & drink more water. If I'm craving something sweet I eat some fruit. You can look on Pinterest or Google about weight to gain while prego, it'll help break it down & explain in better detail.
Depends on your pre pregnacy weight if you were tiny you can stand to gain the weight if you were fluffer then probably not so much. I have gained about 25 pounds and I am 31 weeks 4 days and my doc said I am doing good I have to keep walking of course
I'm 30 weeks and I've gained 25 and my doctor so far says my weight gain is fine.
