You can always double check what your hospital provides and if you want to use what they have or your own things whatever your more comfortable with. My hospital provides everything I would need it's a matter of if I want to use theres. Basic essentials I'm packing-
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Shampoo/ conditioner
Two towels
Deodorant
Hair ties/clips/head bands
Pads
Lotion/stretch mark oil
Chapstick/lip balm
3-4 pairs of socks and undies(never know how long u might end up staying)
Comfy pj's
Slippers/sandles
Two outfits( weather is crazy in California one incase it's cold when I leave other incase it's hot out)
Baby essentials-
Going home outfit
Mittens/socks/caps
2 Receiving blanket
Other stuff-
Breast pump if plan on breast feeding
Phone/tablets
Chargers
Favorite light snacks for partner and myself :)
Cash(for vending machines incase we finish snacks)
Diaper bag filled with baby essentials just in case(diapers, wipes, bottles ect...)
This is all I have so far I still feel like I'm missing something and I'm sure I'm taking alot but my hospital is like 40 mins away depending on traffic from my house and my partner would go back home if I needed something but I would prefer to have him by my side and not make him drive back and forth.
Slippers if you don't wanna waer hospital booties. Uhmmm gum, tooth brush tooth paste. Pads. Socks. PJs and everyday comfy clothes going home outfit and makeup if you where it, shower stuff and whatever else you think you may need going home outfit for your baby. Trying to think on what I should pack as well. Good luck!
