I am still doing some gym stuff, just cutting back on the intensity though - this is my second pregnancy and during the first one I noticed I'd get dizzy very easily when exercising.
I did Xtend Barre (Pilates) until 34 weeks and pregnancy yoga all the way through, plus walking and stretching. This time is similar but all on my own, no classes because I don't have money or time for that!
The best advice I got was build your upper body strength, because you'll be carrying that kid around in one arm a LOT (so true). And keep your back strong or you'll be in for a world of hurt if it fails you!

Hi!
I want to stay active too but I live in a really hot climate so I've stopped my usual exercise of running 4-5 times a week, instead I've started walking around 8km a day (5 before work and 3 after). It helps that I have a fat dog. Also doing free weights for 15/20 mins a day.

I'm surprised that I've noticed a difference from walking every day. Didn't think it would do anything compared to running but I guess I'm covering more ground than I would if I was just going for a 5km run and I'm doing it every day. I'm actually really enjoying it too. Never thought I'd be a walker!

I literally just found out and have been researching. From everything I've read, the baby is well protected and there is no reason to do less than what you've been doing. I'm not a doctor but it seems to be the consensus. I have to see my doctor too but I feel confident in keeping my routine the same as I have so far! Exciting time though!

With my first pregnancy I had low placent, n my pregnancy was high risk. Thats why I decided to quit my Insanity program, because I need to hear from my doctor that everything is fine n normal.

I love to walk. I'm slowing down on my workouts, hubby and air found out Wednesday we are expecting our second child. I'm going to walk and do aerobic exercises. Still gonna lift weights but no hard exercises such as butlers or jump squats. Def went up on my step goal tho. Went from 10,000 steps to 15,500 steps. I can't let my body settle into the stiffness and pains of pregnancy.
