Boxers or Briefs?

Now that most of us know if we are having a boy or a girl I wanted to see if an old wives tale proves true or not.

I have always heard that if your dh/df/db wears boxers you are more likely to have a boy and if he wears tighy-whiteys/boxer briefs then you are more likely to have a girl. I guess the less constricted "the boys" are the higher the sperm count...or something. Anyway, I thought it would be a fun experiment.

My s/o has always used bikinis and now switches between those and boxer briefs.  We're having a boy.  I know that the closer the testicles are to the body the warmer they are and that can lower sperm count.

My husband wear boxers, and I have 2 girls a 1 boy...

The tightie-whities restrict, and can cause sperm to die, and low sperm count.

Boxer briefs aren't too tight, I believe their loose but not so loose and free like boxers...

Well I guess the old wives tale that I heard will reamin just that.....it's fun to see the results though. :)

My husband wears boxers always has since I've known him and we are having a girl.  I wonder if that really works ou tto be true.

yeah my husband USE to wear boxer briefs (which is what you call what your hubby wears Jem) and I totally think those are the same as briefs except they are a little more modern I guess?...

I made my husband switch to boxers when we decided that we wanted to have a baby within the next few years...just in case they really did lower sperm count. He had been wearing boxers for at least 8 months before we got pregnant (on accident) AND we are having a girl. So....I don't think this old wive's tale is going to prove true!

My DH wears the boxer briefs too, so I voted for briefs.

a girl for me and husband wears those long calvin klein briefs - you know the soft cotton but long not tighty whitey - so is that considered briefs?

also - please tell me what DH stands for - I kind of know it means your man - but curious what is stands for - dear husband?

I have never heard this before!  My husband definitely wears boxers and we are having a girl this time around, and although we miscarried our first, she was a little girl as well.  So, for us... this wives tale isn't true :)  But, it's funny though!
