Brownish discharge

Hello ladies,

Hope you are all doing very well. I had my first HCG test at 4 weeks - 118 and second one was done after two days which is 186.

Did all the blood work and everything is fine. Today I am 5 weeks 4 days pregnant and since yesterday, I have been having brown pinkish discharge. I started early in the morning and stopped and then again in the after. Till now I am still having it but no cramps at all. I am freaking out. I went to see the doctor today. He sent me for a blood test -hcg and then requested an Ultrasound. He said that it might not conclude anything as there might not be any heart beat. He requested me to do the US by next Tuesday.

I am trying very hard not to stress myself but it is very hard.

Any advice?

brown usually means old blood - so sometimes your body is getting rid of it - but pay attention to the pink discharge, and have your Dr thoroughly check you out.

I would try really hard not to stress out. Stress takes a hard toll on our bodies than we realize. It is good you have an appointment to see your doc again. I am not sure what the brownish/pink discharge means. I am only 4wks but had light brown discharge for about 3 days. I would think that if you notice anything more, you should go in to your doc sooner.

I am sure things are ok...looks like your numbers are doing good. Maybe it is just some late implantation residual stuff.

I hope you get some good anwsers soon. :)
