I went to see my doctor yesterday to see if I am dilated

After a painfull check she did say I am now 1cm dilated.  hmmm I dont think its enough at this point since my due date is supposed to be the 8th.  I dont think I will give birth then.  probably a few days after.  but thats okay at least I am a bit dilated now.  she said those false labor pains (BH) helped me get dilated and thin out.  I remember it happened after I did some mild exercises like the butterfly pose.  I guess it triggered the BH.  whatever it is I am happy I am making progress...

slowly but surely I guess.  How is everyone doing?

well its my due date today and still nothing. :0( I get contractions every now and then but not continous.  anyone know how they decide when someone gets induced? and is it painfull?

well i am 2cm dialated and my Dr admitted me tot he hospital last night cause she thought i was gonna go into labour for sure, i hadn't lost my mucus plug...but i did through the night. I finally started having regular contractions, had some pain med...and then they stopped and they sent me home this am

I definitely agree with the waiting game.  LOL its even hard now that we are expecting to see something.  I remember the 2WW when we were TTC too.  It was the most horrible 2WW every.  AT least now we know we will get something. :0)I am hoping we all get our gifts soon.

I had some BH again last night and I am happy because my OB said they help in thinning and dilating.  I will continue doing my butterfly poses hoping to get more dilated.

does your doctors check you weekly? I mean down there?

according to the doc monday I am 1cm dialated and 80 percent effaced I am so hoping something happens soon..I am tired and uncomfortable.

well - at least you are heading in the right direction! I have been b.w 1-2 CM dilated for the last two weeks but since I lost the plug on Monday - I hope I get news of progress at my appt on Friday. I felt lots of low back contractions Monday - but have been fine since - just BH contractions. But when they monitored me two weeks ago - i had contractions during that time and had NO IDEA. So who knows....only time will tell.

I have two weeks to go. I remember the two week waiting period to see if I actually got pregnant and can not believe I am on the completely other side now of the 2 wk waiting period!
