Hi Everyone...

Just thought this would be fun.  What do you THINK you are having?  It will be fun to revisit this later and see who was correct! :)

I THINK that I am having a boy... I feel soo different this pregnancy than my first one.  
(I ended up miscarrying that one at 15 weeks and it was a girl.  I had a feeling the entire time, too, that is was a girl.)  So, who knows... maybe I will be right this time!! :)  What about everyone else?

I missed this one LOL but I would have to say mine was wrong (even though I didnt post) I swore I was having a girl... But were having a boy!

So funny - I was WRONG too! I "knew" I was having a girl by the time I found out - but this early along (at 6 weeks) I thought BOY. haha...good fun!

NOPE!!!  I was wrong :)  Funny though... because closer to us having the ultrasound and after I posted this (as the weeks passed) my "prediction" changed to girl!  So, I suppose if I had posted this a bit further along, I probably would have said girl.  Thanks for bringing this post back up! :)

Hi everyone :) I'm hoping for a girl since we already have a 1year old little boy (which i was very adament he was a girl until the 18 w U/S hehe). I am much much better with girls names and are at a lost for boys names. But I didn't have much sickness at all with my son but today I feel awfull, the smell of certain foods..yuck..chicken nuggets are the worst as of now! Which is awfull because my son loves to eat them.But the chinese lunar calender was the only 'gender predictor' that predicted right for my son. EVERY other one online was wrong, (I took hundreds out of curiousity), they all said girl. And the heartbeat also indicated girl, so it just goes to show what a guessing game it really is :) I am having weird dreams, before I knew I was even pregnant I had a dream of having twin girls (which I know I'm not having twins, as of now atleast). And 3 months ago, before I conceived my sister had a dream I was having a boy.
Pregnancy truelly is a unique experience :)

I think boy - at 6 weeks ppt BPM was 122, then at 8 weeks it was 144, two days later 166 - so if the high heartbeat per minute theory holds, true - it is a girl - but DR said BPM fluctuates...so who knows.

I don't think I will find out the sex -- what is everyone else doing?

My doctor is going to see if she can determine the sex at my 16 week appt.  I will be 11 weeks tomorrow (Sunday)... so only 5 more weeks!! :)  I guess it will all depend on if baby wants to cooperate.  Hopefully, s/he will :)

I believe that my baby will be  boy....but have a very long way to find that out.

I was just talking to DH about this tonight. For no particular reason, I think we are going to have a girl. DH thinks a boy. I guess one of us will be right....hehehe.
I wouldn't mind having a boy first though. I'm not really particular but everytime I go thru name books I only concentrate on girl names. Maybe it is intuition.

Generally what week do you go in to find out the sex? My next u/s is at 12 weeks. Would it be good to say I would have another 4 weeks later and find out then? I am not sure how many u/s you have during a "normal" pregnancy.

i just had my pregnancy confirmed today i took a test 2 days ago and it was very faint so i went to a free clinc they were so nice and another test was even fainter they did an ultrasound and im 10 weeks 4 days march 3 due date from ultrasound but from period its feb 28 so i have to wait to go see my doctor to see what date they will go by. my af was on may 24 my son is 9 months old so im hoping its a girl and dh has two sons from previous marriage. The heartbeat was 176 the baby was moving but then stop so high heartbeats means it a girl! I hope its a GIRL! With my son his hb was low always 140 or 130 something like that i dont have  alot of morning sickness i did with my son  a lot i had a m./c for my first pregnancy thats how i feel with this one not that much sickness just tierd and a few headaches here and there and i get very upset and wanting to throw up when i change my son diapers olol

I agree it is a fun thing to speculate on! I enjoy little posts like this since lately I have been incredibly bored at home until school starts up again. I check this forum like 7 times a day!! It is sad...but if I am not sleeping I am thinking about baby so I go on here to see what other moms are doing. :)


Speaking of sleeping...anyone else having crazy dreams??? I have noticed an increase in crazy dreams since I have been pregnant. (And a lot of them are of a naughty nature too..haha...) I wake up going "What the heck???" most mornings...before going to the bathroom for my daily morning sickness routine of course. ;)

I don't think that there are any scientific signs that would indicate exactly what you are having.  Sometimes moms say they "just knew" or had a "feeling" that they were having a boy or a girl.  But, gosh... with your husband's family history, it sounds like you must be having a boy ;)  

I think all of us would agree... it doesn't matter what gender the baby is, as long as it is healthy.  Just thought it would be fun to see what people's thoughts were :)

I really really want a boy and we have a boy name so that makes me think that it is a girl....but as long as it is healthy I guess either way...^_^ We find out on the 29th of September...

I am only 9 1/2 weeks along, and this is my first pregnancy, so I don't really know the signs to tell if the baby is a boy or a girl.  But, I do know that there hasn't been a girl in my husband's family in 70 years, so I'm pretty sure it will be a boy!  The Chinese calendar says a girl!  Healthy works great for me!

Well....according to the chinese calendar I should be having a boy. BUT I am so sick and everyone tells me that is a sign I am having a girl. So...who knows! I don't really feel one way or the other I guess. I would LOVE to have either one so I guess that is good. (Because it will be either one or the other!)
