Swollen ankles anyone?

Hi -
I flew back to Connecticut for my hometown shower this weekend - flight was rough. Major tightness in my chest from cabin pressure. Glad to be done with flying after I get home!

Today I noticed the inside of my ankles are barely there! SO SWOLLEN. I recall this being a sign of pregnancy - but anyone else experiencing this?

Little bamino is moving lots and doing well, but hope these kankles are not anything to be concerned about. i have my 28 week appt on Friday.

Glad to hear there back down! Mine come and go too..... Hmmm I didnt even think about it but it definitely could be my salt intake LOL thats causing it

just an update - about a day after flying my ankles went back to normal - thank goodness! But DR says to watch salt in take too.

I have the same problem (boo for cankles!) I will be 29 weeks on wed or thursday.... I do notice that some days are worse than others tho..... it kinda comes and goes.....

My feet were swollen the other day...I didn't wear practical shoes. I refuse to. I like to wear my high heels (I do opt for the shorter heel lately just so I don't hurt myself or baby). I thought it was weird that I had swollen feet though because I wasn't on them very much. My friend who just had her baby had a REALLY bad time for just one swollen ankle. She had a job where she stood all the time and she refused to wear support hose. The worst part was she also got varicose veins...so I would recommend, if you stand a lot, to wear the unfashionable maternity support hose...

Hey.. I have this problem too.. I thought it was from the weight I gained, but who knows.. It looks horrendous! Lol.. But yeah, I'm right there w/ ya on the cankles.
