spit up

Every once in awhile Carter will spitup (well more then just a little spitup, i guess i should say throwup) very watery fluids, today it had a little bit of white in it but most of the time its just clear liquid. It's enough to completely cover his bib (i have to keep plastic lined bibs on him all the time because he drools so much). It kinda scares me when this happen because I don't know what it is or if it is normal

When my first was little he would "throw up" all of the freaking time! I would feed him, and within an hour he would projectile an opaque substance all over himself! After doing lots of research I found that children, of course, are born with very small stomachs. These organs have a harder time expanding when overfilled than ours do. and this is the reason for massive amounts of spit up. It just means that baby has over eaten and his/her stomach can't take it all.

Hayden is "Mt Vasuvious"  and is constantly erupting....spit all over. I read that it is normal to have spit up a mix of milk and saliva...that is why it looks like a lot. I have asked my DR about it and they said as long as there is no blood in it, not to worry.

When Mady spits up it also has white in it, but as Ovaz said it is milk.  Or I would guess maybe cereal since yo are feeding him that now.  I would see if it happend more then worry otherwise I think you are OK!!!

Hmmm... I don't know?  If he is drooling a lot, maybe he is also swallowing some which would make sense then that his throwup is clear.  That would be my best guess.

Leighton throws up, but it is reflux... so it is pure milk or curdled milk.  I would say if this is something new, and he is still doing it in a few days, that maybe you should take him to the doctor to be sure nothing is wrong.  But, I would have to think that he is just swallowing his some of his drool.
