Baby dropping

I don’t have appt in till the end of next week...But I was wondering if my dr. will know if I have dropped? We will be doing an exam that day….

You would think with this being my 3rd pregnancy I would know, but I don’t think I every dropped with my other 2.

The last 2 weeks, I have been peeing a lot more, a very heavy feeling in my lower abdominal, a "weird" feeling in my Vjaja area, And my left groin area has been hurting as well, like I pulled it ( but I have no idea how I did if I did) TMI, it has also been getting harder to “wipe” down there, but I don’t know if its because he’s dropped Or if its because he is getting Bigger…..What do you guys think?

Oh I've been having pelvic pain for at least 3 weeks and the baby definitely hasn't dropped yet. I mean as of last doctor's visit, she was on position but that's it. I'm going today for a growth u/s and I guess they'd tell me.

the doctor should definately be able to tell if they do a pelvic exam to check your cervix and stuff. (which mine did at my 34 week exam) tell them you've been having pain down there and they will definately check it out for you/make sure your cervix is still closed. my doctor told me that DD was very low, but my cervix was very high and closed still. even after all the pelvic pain i was having a few days before and the day of the exam. dont be surprised if he havent dropped yet (and it will be very noticable when he has). most 2nd+ pregnancy the baby wont dropp until right before labor begins or during labor. sorry if my post was long/confusing. i like to talk (mostly about myself and DD lol)

hey i dont know if you get a regular sono when you go to you obgyn, if you do the check if the baby has dropped by that. i went today for my 34 week check up and the baby is in position but has not dropped. also when you get a regular check up usually the doc touches your belly and they can tell by doing this. the pain in the vajaja is happening to me too, my doc said its the muscles getting ready for the baby to come down.
