Matilda Florence Williamson has arrived! 11th march2010

I was sat on the sofa at 8.30 pm when i heard a pop so i stood up and my waters had broke and where gushing every where. An hour later the contractions kicked in coming 2mins apart so we arrived at the hospital at 11.00pm and i was 2cm dilated and fully effaced but every time i was getting a contraction the babys hr dipped so i had to stay hooked up to monitors and have a clip on the babys head to monitor her more closely. Come 12.35am they were coming every min and baby was really struggling now and i was 4cms dilated  so they suggested an epidural as the pain was so intense,,, as they were putting it in at 12.50 i felt the urge to push so they checked me again and yes i was 10cms so with no pain relief i pushed out Matilda Florence at 1.03 am weighing a dainty 6lb 6oz and shes absoloutly perfect :D Beacause the labour progressed so quickly they said thats why she was distressed but now shes here and doing really well she latched on straight away :D So i did it in only a few hours with no pain relief!
