does anyone know anything about PSD??? i started having pelvic pain when I was about 21 weeks I called my DR. and he told me it was normal that it was just my ligaments stretching but now that pain is worse sometimes I can't even walk and let's not talk about sleeping because I haven't had a good night sleep in a long time

OMG is PSD what I'm feeling??? It makes me walk like a 100 year old, its terrible! my pelvic area hurts soooo badly. I also have trouble at night sleeping when my sides go numb. Worst part is that I feel bettr on my left side but everytime I'm on that side my baby starts kicking me strong so I have to turn

I know what you mean, I am in the same situtation! I feel like the baby is sitting on my pelvic bones and it hurts so bad to move!! Especially when you have been sitting or laying for awhile. Sometimes its hard for me to even roll over in bed because it hurts so bad. I have tried sleeping with the pillow between my legs but it doesnt relieve any pain. I would love to have a warm bath but everytime I take a bath I end up getting a bacterial infections. So I am stuck with showers! I've noticed when I sit for awhile, when I go to stand up its like my hips almost give out on me and it hurts so bad! Here's a problem I am having. I can't breath if I lay on my back.. SO at night I have to go from side to side. When I lay on my right side, that side eventually goes numb so then I flip to the left side until it goes numb. I do this about every hour all thru the night not to mention the million times I wake up to go pee. Is anyone else going numb?

I'm assuming PSD is the same is SPD (symphisis pubis dysfunction). If it is that it is what I have...I'm in heaps of pain as well. I can't walk in the afternoon at all...To me it is like someone is literally pulling my legs apart. I have warm baths to help and you prob need to see a physiotherapist...Some people get it so bad they have to be in a wheelchair...I also use a body pillow between my legs to sleep at night cos it freakin hurts so much...I think it is supposed to go away pretty much straight after delivery...

I don't know what PSD stands for, but round ligament pain is normal & can be painful. If you feel pain in your bikini line/groin area, it is likely round ligament pain, caused by your uterus stretching. Try taking Tylenol. It helped me a little bit ;)
