cold remedies?

Ok this is driving me crazy. My two children have gotten me sick and with being 34 weeks Prego I was wondering if anyone knew any safe good cold remedies. My ob just says benedril for my nose and sleep but I really need something that works for colds. It's hard enough being Prego, let alone sick and Prego with 2 sick kids lol.
