Oh my! I would make an appointment with your doctor to discuss how you have been feeling. My mother was also a diabetic so I know what it's like always wondering if you too have it. Have you been drinking/eating things high in sugar or caffeine? If so cut all things out that contain that. Have you been eating well? Not going long periods of time without eating? Always make sure you don't go hungry for any amount of time. They say eat 6 SMALL meals a day to avoid hunger. Have you been drinking enough water? Pregnancy demands a lot of water, preterm labor occurs when you get dehydrated. Just talk with your doctor and take it easy. Maybe it's your blood pressure? Do you ever have high blood pressure?
Hi,
Sorry that you are feeling so sick :(
I am about 15 weeks, was throwing up and sick to my stomach through the first two moths...that has subsided.
Now, I too am TIRED all of the time! Drained was a good word for it, like you said. Did your doc check your iron level? That could play a huge part in energy levels. mine was fine last month, but I called doc about being tired all day, every day and they said it was OK to start taking an iron supplement along with the prenatal vitamin. I would say to definitely check with YOUR doc first before staring anything new, but ask about it.
What did they admit you to hospital for?
I have had a difficult time eating enough, has become better in past couple weeks, but how is your appetite/diet?
Finally, I had two or three episodes where I felt really faint, like I was about to pass out...I grabbed a drink of juice or anything with sugar, then felt better 5/10 min later. It could be blood sugar related. Did you have any type of glucose testing done yet? If not, ask your doc about it.
Try to eat something small every couple hours, to keep your sugar stable. I know that for me, this is hard, but I am getting a bit better at it.
Hope this helped, at least a little.
Feel free to message me on here.
Feel better!
