breech baby... a little scared

So my doctor sent me for an ultrasound this morning, and I find out that our baby is Frank Breech and also around 9 pounds!!  I'm due in 2 days. I've been scheduled for a c section Monday morning at 6:30 am. I'm scared!  I can't believe that my doctor didn't realize the baby was breech until 2 days before my due date!  That alarms me a bit! He said that the baby is fine , healthy and normal, but really big! But I'm still worried and nervous. Anyone else have a breech baby?

Very good to know! Thanks for sharing. Haha shoot! I didn't even think about that! I've honestly been dreaming about sleeping on my stomach again! But it's good to know that you're feeling so good 12 days after! Scary that the cord was around her neck! Glad everything worked out! Yes very true! I'm alright with not having to push out a 9 pound baby! Lol thanks again!

Mine wasn't breach but was 9 lbs and had the cord wrapped around her neck, so after 24 hours of labor I had a c section. Really isn't bad at all. Only thing that ***** is you still can't sleep on your stomach yet Haha. But it's really easy recovery. I'm on day 12 and I barely notice it at this point and trust me, pushing out a 9lb baby isn't easy! I was relieved when I finally had the c section
