looking for constructive feedback

Finding a baby name for our first little one has been a struggle for my husband and I. We had a name for a boy, but are having a girl. Needless too say we are thrilled but the only problem is, I'm now 34 wells and we still can't agree on a name. Some of the names i offered were Lorena, Valentina, Livia, Valeska, Elena. He liked Vanessa, Ingrid, Agatha, Yasmin. The only names we like from eachothers lists are Vanessa & Valeska. But im torn. Hes leaving it up to me. Vanessa means butterfly, Valeska means glorious leader. My husband is Brazilian and i am Guatemalan/Russian. Both mames are pronounced the same in Spanish/ English/ Portuguese. Anyone have any feedback or advice for this FTM?

I have gotten a lot of positive feedback on Valeska this week. Which encourages me that im not crazy for liking the name O:-)

I love them both, they're so pretty! I think I'm leaning toward Valeska though. I like how unique her heritage is and that name just seems like a good fit. :) But I agree with the previous poster, maybe just wait until you see her!

I like Vanessa as well. With My first we were 90% sure what his name was but I could say yes until I saw him. We had two other back up names just in case the name wasn't his. But after one day with him I was sure! Now he is 3 and his name is totally him.

I would wait until you see her to decide. My husband and I had it narrowed down to 4 when our first baby was born. If we had picked before she was born, it would not have been the name we choose after we saw her.

Of the names u guys agree on I think Vanessa is very pretty. But of urs Valentina is cute:) Good luck I know how hard it can be this is my third and we had a bit name but took forever to decide on a girl name we both like. Finally agreed on Adelynn Grace. I'm 31weeks 5days
