sick baby: (

After over 24 hours of labor and a c section, my baby girl was put on antibiotics right away because the doctor claimed she looked sick and my fluid smelled foul. Two days later when they stopped the antibiotics she began to have breathing problems and a fever. She was flown to a children's hospital. She had fluid in her lungs and was put on a machine that helped apply pressure to push the fluid out and was put on 3 different antibiotics and an antiviral. We stayed another 7 days there. All the tests came back negative but they believe she caught an infection from being inside of me too long after by water broke. My family, who is my biggest support system, freaked out and was horrible throughout this, blamed me and treated me terrible. We are FINALLY home now. And baby girl is doing much better. My mom is still being passive aggressive, but my dad is being better. Hopefully things will continue to get better there. Been very hard to deal with that on top of everything. Was the scariest, most intense ten days of my life. So happy we are home now. I am just so in love!!

Congratulations.   Family can sometimes be a real bummer at the worst possible time.  I'm sure you're doing all that you can to adjust with your new bundle of joy!  Just stay positive and take it easy.  I'm so happy for you that baby is on the mend.  How scary for you after all the anticipation!
