1st trimester "12 weeks" Ultrasound & NT Scan: Costs & Locations (Perth, WA)

My doctor has given me a referral for SKG Mandurah to have my 1st trimester 12 Week  Ultrasound & NT Scan as it's the same place I had my early pregnancy (dates unclear) ultrasound where I had been informed I was 9 weeks & due on the 20th of March, 2015! Yet SKG Mandurah told me several different things;

Phone Call #1: They don't have the equipment there to do ultrasounds even though I "Ultrasounds" is written on the side of the building + also done my 1st ultrasound there.

Phone Call #2: Closet place to me would be Murdoch SKG then stating SKG Rockingham would do my ultrasound. ( was extremely confused told SKG Mandurah id phone back in 15 minutes)

Phone Call #3: SKG Rockingham do not to the 1st trimester ultrasounds & id received incorrect information & that SKG Mandurah could do it (who is currently on the phone) yet I'd have to book through the Peel Health Campus. Yet if I wanted to attend SKG Murdoch for my appointment I'd be out of pocket $295.50 even though It's on my referral "Bulk Bill"

Phone Call #4: Peel Health Campus tell me that medicare offers no assistance / rebate for ultrasounds & I will be out of pocket $190.00

I am seriously extremely confused to say the least especially as friends & family who have just had ultrasounds / babies have been bulk-billed for all ultrasounds or had a $70-$90 check paid to who done their ultrasound by medicare. Along with the fact received bulk billing at places / locations where I have just been told they "don't have the equipment to do that ultrasound"

Is there anywhere in Perth, Peel / Murray Region that Bulk-Bill & can actually do the 12 week 1st trimester ultrasound? Along with have no communication difficulties with?

Also, I had someone Inform me yesterday that I am apparently ment to be booked in to have my bloods done at least 48hours prior to the 12 week & NT scanning / ultrasound.. Is this true? Should my doctor have told me this? I feel as though he isn't filling me in on what I need to know /have to do!

You seem to be getting a lot of misinformation. I would search for a doctor who has the equipment in office that way all your information comes from the same source and no extra out of pocket expenses.
