What is this stingy cervix pain?

Everytime I stand up, I'm getting this preasure/stinging pain in what I assume to be my cervix. It's fine if I'm sitting or laying down, but as soon as I stand up, I feel like I need to cross my legs to keep the baby in!

I'm now 37 weeks and baby has now been 'dropped' for a week.

My Mum said she had the same thing the day before she went into labor with me!

Has anyone else experienced this?

(My mum's friend done me a spiritual reading, which say's I'll give birth tomorrow. Although, I don't really believe in that stuff.) ><

I'm 37 weeks, 3 days and I've been getting that same feeling for about 2 weeks. I've discussed it with my obstetrician and she said it is just the muscles and ligaments relaxing in preparation for labour, which is a good thing. If you're still concerned about it, talk to your health care professional.
