I Think I am Going to Go Broke Buying Little Girl Clothes!

by njrohe, Nov 26, 2008 11:40AM
This is the 4th day in a row I've gone out and bought clothes for my new little princess.  I need to stop!  Please help!!!  It's just that the girl clothes are soooo cute, and to make matters worse nearly every store in the mall has the entire store 50% off!!!  My husband used to always make fun of me for browsing the girls' section when I had no reason to buy, but now I do!!!  But still, we can't afford this, so I'm telling you all so that you can hold me accountable.  I promise not to buy any more girl clothes until I am at least eight months pregnant.  There.

And you want to hear something really WEIRD???  The boys clothes look cuter to me now.  I find myself wishing my son were smaller so he could fit into the infant boys clothes.  Now I need another boy, too!  When will this madness stop?

HAHA at least you waited till you found out! I on the other hand as crazy as I am started girl shopping b4 I even found out I was pregnant! Well in my defense (I guess) I struggled with infertility for 5 LONG years. I handled the pain differntly than most, I would get a BFN and be so sad, I would go baby shop for an hour or so buy a cute little outfit, and in a weird way it eased the pain till the next month! Well and obviously 90% of the clothes I bought were girl clothes, they are cuter most of the time, but after 5 yrs I developed quite the collection, I still have some really cute boy stuff too :) I'll tuck it away in a hope chest! ~Anyhoo I have enough stuff to cloth a baby girl up through the first 9 months easy! and lets not forget onsies and burpies and bibs and gowns and sleepers and hooded towels.....LOL you get the picture! Now I just need her to get here!!!!

i cant stop!! its like an addiction. if it wasnt so cold here i would be out right now!! plus i live in a small city where there is only 1 baby boutique, which i have been to twice. ( i have relaized its a bit pricey!!) and then walmart and superstore who actually has really nice baby clothes.nicer than walmart. if i was in the "big" city i would not be able to stop!!

tomorrow my gf and i are going to e-children which is a huge baby store, they have it all, cribs, strolllers, bedding, clothes! i think it will be a very expensive day.
