horrible tooth ache what can i take?

ok so for the past 3 days the whole right side of my mouth have been hurting so bad nothing seems to touch it not origel or tylenol or salt water i was told to try does ne one know what i can do to get rid of the pain?

baby abisol? i would go to the pharmacy and ask they are always up on what us pregos can take!

i tried that and orijel nothing works not even tylenol my oncall ob told me it would be ok to take motrin but doesn't work either not thing is working i'm about to go to er to get checked for an abscess tooth and have it drained that's what my ob told me to do if swelling occured until i could get into the dentist

They can prescribe you somthing stronger my OB gave me a script for Tylenol 3, I didn't take it b/c I thought I could deal with out it, but if it's an absess (abscess) those sucker hurt!! get you somthing for pain, pain medication in moderation is ok, it's worse for the baby if you are in pain, then your b/p will get crazy and throw things off. I say get some good pain killers!

I'm a dentist, and the best advice I can give you is to go to a dentist to treat the tooth as soon as possible, plus the second trimester of pregnancy is the safest time in pregnancy to treat teeth.

thanks you guys i did get antibiotics for the infection it is an absecess tooth and i have tylenol 3 with codeine idk how to spell that lol but its better today and i called my dentist that my insurance provided as the pcd and they are not accepting new patients so i can't get into the dentist til that gets changed and i have a card for my new dentist is what i was told errrrrr so aggrivated luckely the tooth its affecting is a chipped tooth in the back i planned on getting cut out this summer to allow my wisdome tooth to come in there thank goodness lol so after all my insurance is fixed i'll have the tooth removed thanks you guys!!!!!!

tylenol and oragel....i just got a tooth pulled yesterday after being in complete pain with it since about 8-10 weeks...am almost 20 weeks now.

i have had half wison tooth out and now have to wait for hospital to take out after baby is born 8weeks to go but in really ........bad pain cant sleep need it out
