Anyone else using cloth diapers?

Just curious! I have been using cloth since Brielle was about 3 weeks old. I had bought just 10 newborns prior to her being born, they didnt fit very well at first so I had some disposables. at 3 weeks she had ableeding diaper rash and I swtiched to cloth and cloth wipes. Cleared up and havent had one since. She did wear a pampers for about 2 hrs a few weeks ago, as I was at a friends and ran out of clen dipes. her butt was red within 2 hrs! i think she is allergic to the absorbant gel........

So anyone else using cloth?

you guys probably think I'm nuts but I love using cloth diapers. its not really harder. I just do a load of diapers every 2 days. so Kylesmom- i dont use a service.
I have found so many brands and varietys and I am kinda having fun with it.  My hubby thinks its good too......mind you he doesnt do the laundry. but still i am into organic stuff anyways and was never going to use pampers or huggies b.c of the gel in them ( no offence to anyone!)  i am loving it!! I am sooooo many cute diapers, i have a cow print, zebra print. flowered ones..the list goes on.

for eczema try triple cream, it was developed for babies and works wonders for eczema. if you type triple paste into google then go onto the site and you will find triple cream,

for kyra's eczema if you go to walmart in the lotion aile, there is something in a big round container called eucerin, try that it is very creasy like crisco lol but it works. i had to use it for madison's cradle cap, it is also used for eczema and really dry skin, my sisters brother is a doctor and told me about it, you can get the equate brand which is what i got it's $7 and the name brand is like $15 dollars. good luck

i agree pampers are much softer i use the swaddlers and love them but the huggies are thicker and they seem to run bigger than the pampers
madison wears a size 2 in the swaddlers and a 1 still in the huggies lol

We use both huggies and pampers, but i prefer pampers b/c they are softer.  The huggies seem to irritate her little legs.
Kiki-
we also had to switch to aveeno b/c kyra has eczema.  Even using the aveeno it isn't completley going away so i don't know what to do next.
Kenny-
You definitley have a lot more paitience than i.  Do you use a cleaning service for them?

I was gonna ask and see how the cloth diapers were going! Addy uses Huggies supreme, and they work well for her, I tried some Luvs that I got from my shower and her tootie got pink, and it smelled real bad when she peed'. I would say maybe a different brand would help. I have a freind who's little boy is allergic to pampers his little pee bob bot real bad swollen, after getting medication and it not helping the Dr. suggested trying Huggies, and she said it cleared up rather quickly.

I like Huggies~ Addy has struggled with Eczema on her legs so she has sensative skin too, but the huggies seem to be ok. I had to switch from Johnsons to Aveeno, and it helped the Eczema tremendously.

i use disposables i don't think i would have enough patience for cloth diapers, she could just be allergic to that brand of disposables madison can't wear luvs i only bout them once and had to go back to pampers and huggies, those are the only diapers madison can wear, i have a friend, her lil boy can only wear huggies.... sorry not much help
