No colostrum leaking yet...

So, I keep reading that I may have colostrum leaking from my breasts by now, but I don't... is that okay?  Anyone else leaking or not leaking?  Anyone else done this before and know more about it than me (or the books for that matter ; ) )

I've leaked a small amount during the night twice so far and one time I noticed some moisture on my nipple.  If I squeeze the right one I can get a small amount to come out.  I went to a breast feeding class last night and the lactation consultant said that some of us will have leaking at this point and some will not at all, so it's perfectly okay for you to not be leaking right now.

I also asked my mom on this one, cause she's had six kids, and she said she never leaked and she never once had a problem breastfeeding... matter of fact, she said that while still in the hospital, her milk came in and it busted out her nursing bra, b/c they filled up so fast and full, so... I guess we don't have anything to worry about after all... so many questions... so little time... or so much time... at this point... I can't decide...hahaha

HAHA Girls mine isn't coming in yet either, and this isn't my first trip down the road! I thought they would know the routine by now!

It really isn't that big of deal, it will come, probly when you start having more contractions, sounds crazy right?? Well it will help release hormones to get your milk production kicked into high gear! :) No worries just be thankful you don't have to worry about embaresing leakage just yet! LOL

I havent had any leaking or any dry stuff. I was wondering about this too. Hopefully it doesnt mean anything about our milk production when the baby comes. Funny I never thought I would want my breast to leak!!

Well, I have the dry scab type stuff, like they may have been leaking just a tad bit.  But, I don't not have the full leaking where I have to wear something and they do not squirt or anything when I squeeze them.

Well I'm not leaking but if I squeeze them then I see it, lol.  And then I just have like dry scabs or something on them.  I wonder if that means I was leaking? Hmmm......

i would say ask your ob when you go back to the doctors i'm not sure but i'm guessing it should be fine. i do have leaking and have for a while now but it just recently started leaking a lil more than it was. and i swear everytime i touch my bb, or ne thing it starts leaking...lol

i havint either! dont worry your not alone! ive read some mums after giving birth get their milk in and sometimes it can also take 2-3days after giving birth before having any. my midwife said its fine because i was also worrying!
