Rash? has anyone seen this?

My 5month old daughter has had this rash around her left eye.  At first i thought it was just dry and irritated from her rubbing her eyes when she's tired.  I tried moisturizing the area and keeping her hands away from her eye.  It became less noticable.  This has been going on for a little over a month.  Now i've noticed she's got a small patch by her nose and now started on her right eye.  They look like pimples.  It looked as if she was getting a sty *spell? but so many of them.  if she leaves her eyes alone they don't go away but are very less noticable.  If she rubs them they become VERY red.  I don't want to take her in unless i have to because of all the sickness going on around my area.  She has a 6month check in 3 weeks but don't know if this can wait.  I dont know what else to try or what this might be?  has anyone ever seen something like this or may know what this is?  It isn't anywhere but those three places now and is JUST starting to show up on her other eye and nose.  I figured if it was spreadable she'd have spread it all over her face by now.  GRrrrr so very frusterated I am trying my best not to be so paranoid (my hubby things i am) but i just worry bout my baby girl :) please anyone if you have any idea let me know i've tried searching the net but have gotten no where.  I am thinking of just calling her dr. to see what she thinks but I don't see how they can diagnose properly without seeing her.  hm.....what do you think ?

Have you tried cortisone cream b/c if it is a rash of some sort that might help.  Other than that i don't have any ideas for you.  Sorry!

I've been mosturizing it more often and it seems go be going away.  I think that it's REALLY DRY in our house now and need to keep her nice and lotioned up :) thank again for replying if it does get worse she's got an apt. for her 6month check in a week so i will let the dr. know~thanks again :) have a wonderful day!

ok i'm not gonna be much help but my daughter had this around 3 months and it lasted about 2 months and then just went away it did the same thing one day it was very red the next barely there and started out with one eye and went to the other and etc. i went back and forth with this for over a month i called the doctor and was told maybe she had gotten into something and told them no that wasn't it. they seen her and never toldme what it was or ne thing other than it should go away on its own and luckily it did so she is fine, but if it gets worse and you need to know more just call the doctor, that's why they are there. good luck
