White discharge and little spots of blood

Hey guys,  I just went to the bathroom and when I looked at my undies there was this white, creamy discharge on them and then when I wiped there was like little spots of blood.  I've been getting a lot of pain lately, like I wanna go to the bathroom, but when I go nothing happens.  I just called my OB but I feel every time I call him he tells me "everything is normal".  This has never happened to me before.  Did any of you ladies get this before giving birth?  I like your responses better than my OB's, lol.  Any experiences would be helpful.

Sometimes even your vagina walls will bleed for no reason, they get very thin, and have increased vascular flow. As long as it has stopped you are probly ok. Now if you see more or it continues go to the hospital, if your Dr. won't listen at least the hospital will peek at baby and your placenta to make sure there are no tears and everything is content. Hang in there we are almost there!!!

I haven't had sex maybe since I was 4 1/2 5 months pregnant!! LOL reason being, husband is very freaked out about the thought of "harming the baby" even though I tell him there is nothing to worry about and I give him stuff to read.  I have been to the bathroom again and there's nothing there anymore.  So lets just wait and see.  Maybe I'm dialating, who knows!!

well, when they found blood in my urine they asked me 'did you and your husband have relations the night before?'.  If so because the cervix is so soft it easily bleeds.  The white discharge is perfectly normal in pregnancy... so could this have been the reason?

I have not experienced that yet at all, and I do not want to worry you, especially if your Dr. says it IS normal, but I have read in the "What to expect when you're expecting" book that red blood in your discharge is something to see your OB about and any time I am having pains or something, the first thing my Dr. asks is "are you seeing any blood", so I would say that if you continue to see it, call again... and insist that he/she see you... you can research "bloody show" and "labor" online and see what they call some of the first signs of labor and what the "bloody show" is in your discharge... let us all know if you find anything else out... we'll be praying for you.
