Sounds like it to me, but don't worry they are completely normal! That uterus is just starting to get some practice in. They will get a little more uncomfortable as the weeks go by. It is good to start getting in tune with them, that way you can tell the difference when the real deal comes along! They are distinctly different. My real ones actuall feel more like period/gas pains along with the tightening. Some say it feels like really bad lower back pain with the tightening! So just keep note of them!

Call me uneducated i guess b/c i really don't know if i am having them or not...  A few times in the past weeks i will get the feeling that my stomach is tensing up. It doesn't hurt or anything, it just feels like my insides are tensing up and it goes away pretty quickly.  I was never too concerned b/c it doesn't cause me pain and isn't very often.  I didn't want to concern my oveprotective DH, so i didn't even really say anything about it.  Could this be what it is or is this something else?

i am not sure if i am having bh or not....occassionally when i stand up my belly feels really hard when i press on it. not uncomfortable or tight just hard. could be a baby butt or something, but it is weird and neat at the same time. this has happened only a couple of times. i am 23 weeks so i am sure it is probably too early for bh.  aside from that out of my 6 pregnancies....even the ones i lost (at around 20-22 wks) i never had any contractions. i didnt go into any kind of preterm labor or spontaneous labor with any of my kids and my daughter was 2 weeks over due. my boys were both 10 days early. so i doubt that this one will give me bh or any kind of labor. BUT then again i am having symptoms with this one that i just didnt have with the others...the sore and tender breasts and nipples, the nausea, headaches, ect... i never had any of that with my other kids, so who knows....i guess i will just have to wait and see...lmao

good luck to all and i am sure bh at 26-27 weeks is normal...just remember that if they start coming regularly (every 20 min or whatever) and changing positions doesnt make it stop.....go to ER or call Dr.  lol just putting my 2 cents in.

I have been getting them for about 3 weeks now, mostly just a little uncomfortable, but there has been a few to down right hurt, and last a while. One night I was convinced I would end up at the dr. office they were so bad, and they were like coming one every hour or so ~ weird. But they went away the next day and they are back to being spuratic? So we just get to deal with them!

LET THE GAMES BEGIN! LOL
