New update thread!

I dont have any updates until Tuesday, but i wanted to start a new thread for out updates, cause the other one is getting pretty long.. i know theres 3 of us that has an appoitnment on Tuesday, me, Mom2Ariana, and Luv2bmommy. So im expected updates after Tuesday. Cant wait to hear about your appoitments and i hope there all great news, I have my fingers crossed that Im dialted to atleast 3 and some thining has started. but we will see!!!!

Girl you are soo lucky!!!  why did he want you to be induced then?  I really hope i make some progress over the weekend, so i can have my baby before mothers day next week.. Congrats on the baby girl....

At my appt on Thursday I was 3 cm and 90% effaced. My doc scheduled me for induction that night. Chloe was born at 4:30 am on 4/30.

Just wanted to update, although I haven't been around much..Went in Wednesday to EL&D and was 2cm, 50% effaced. Head is low but not engaged. I went in because I was having consistent contractions about 5 min apart. Since this is my second, I thought better safe than sorry. Well, they had me walk for 2 hours (which made the contractions a lot stronger) and when I went back the only change was that my cervix went from a posterior position to anterior. Nothing else, so they let us go home. Contracted through the night and then it started to calm down by the morning. I really thought that was it...but NO. Went to the Dr today (contractions have settled) but still 2cm, 50% effaced. She said it could still be a couple of weeks yet, but to stay active. I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow (full term-yay!!), so at least no more worries about pre-term labour. I am seriously glad that it looks like this one will not be coming out on his/her sister's b-day..that would have been a disaster!!

I'm sending labour dust to all the ladies anxiously waiting for their babies to come out!!

Im so glad you got some good news at your appointment, i know how u feel about the head though, i feel like hes gonna fall out anytime, with all the pressure down there..  but doctor saids hes still alil up there but didnt give me a number, which now i wish i had :(..  And yea i starte losing lil pieces three weeks ago. but not much and only on a few occassions.  but ever since he checked me on Tuesday, I have been losin huge globs for three days. i lose some everytime i pee.. Which obviously I pee alot.  but sometimes there huge globs.. so hopefully now that you've been messed with down thre, something will happen for you... I really dont feel labor happening anytime for me, im reallly discouraged.. Ive been doing sex for 2 weeks now, and walkin like crazy.  and taking warm baths.. but im really not into the sex either.. its all for baby lol.. I walked for  8 hours yesterday, while shopping with my girls and still nothing, so im really discouraged :(.. i hope these babies all come in a couple weeks for us :)

oh wow I had no idea so many others were having the same problems as me, maybe its just that we want to know every little thing lol. But honestly I feel as if we DO deserve to be answered to the best of the dr's knowledge. Even if it is something they cannot tell us with 100% certainty, at least they could tell us what they speculate. Well at my appointment yesterday he told me I was at a 2, 50% effaced, and the baby was high in station, although I can't agree with that, she feels like a sack of potatoes trying to fall out! I mean I feel her VERY low. But at least I made a little progress, slowly but surely! Sounds like some of you are getting really really really close, with all this talk of mucus plugs! ammanda you sound like any second it might happen! I lost a bit of mine about 2 weeks ago, but nada since then! peeing like crazy from all the extra pressure though. and staying a little wet down there. I walked up and down my stairs as much as I could handle yesterday, on top of a walk down the road with my two girls, on top of pretty much being on my feet all day anyway. Sex is still no option, not right now, I am not in the mood, and hubby is nervous since I told him it helps dilate the cervix haha. I'm going to try nipple stimulation and walking today. Hope you all are ready! WE ARE RIGHT THERE!

Sorry been very MIA sooo much going on at home but I am glad to see everyone's asready as me to be done lol! My dr's big comment yesterday after a cervix check was "nothin goin on up here" so much for large amounts of info couldn't even give a guess on baby's weight. Boo! Oh well my section is Tuesday at 7:30am so just gotta make it til then can't wait to meet him good luck to all you ladies!!!

Wow ladies im so sorry you are dealing with crappy doctors.  But my doctor doesnt willingly tell me these things either.. i have to ask him.  and i dont leave th office until i hear everything i want to hear..  you girls should def. tell your doctors that you feel rushed and no weel informed and explain how you feel about that.. and refuse to leave until you know everything you want to.. you are the patient you deserve that!  

I have been losing sooo much mucus today and yesterday, i didnt think there was that much of it, seriosuly im grossed out.  Yesterday there was brown blood in it, and today its just greenish and clear again.  and im having a bad back ache today.  I hope he comes soon!

u people are so lucky atleast u know what`s going on.i`ve problem like luv2bmommy.my dr always says everything is okay.no extra information.really for me it`s like ,a big joke. i`m 35 week now this sat i`ve my appo.lets see .but i`m feeling lot`s of braxton hicks and lots of pressure in lower abdomen.and even i can feel baby move down there.let`s see..............

I've been losing a lot of my mucus plug this afternoon and it continues.  I lost some last week but not a whole lot.  I wonder if this is a sign I am getting close!  I've also been having some mild cramping.

I am not being told what station he is at either, or how effaced I am, etc.  I feel when I ask her a question lately, I really don't get an answer.  I get some round about answer that leaves me even more confused than last time.  So basically I have given up asking.  I figure that is just her way of saying she has no flipping idea when he is coming either : )  It would be nice if she just said that!  Anyways, I am trying less to stress out about when he comes.  It will be here soon enough and then I will probably be complaining about how often I have to breast feed or change his diaper- LOL!  I guess I am just going to try and enjoy these last few days that just we have together before he meets the rest of the world.  Good luck at your appointment hopefully you get your questions answered.

you know, these updates have me realizing just how aggravated I am at my dr! You guys have been getting tons more info than I have at my checkups!!! My dr doesn't tell me anything about what station the baby is in, effacement, position, oh wait he said, "It SEEMS like shes in head down position..." how freaking reassuring is that?! I understand he can't see through my belly but atleast try to make an educated guess! He just glanced at me after I asked him that (for the 4th time!) and told me that. Any info about the baby I have to beg him for, and then he doesnt even say oh well lets see, he just says, ohhh everything is fiiiine. well how would you know that?! I'm not leaving that office today without a detailed report of all changes down there. I mean I am all for nature doing her part and I understand he cannot predict when baby is coming out but its like hes not even really listening to my questions, and therefore not telling me what I would like to know. Its kinda like when you know whether or not your hubby is listening by the "uh-huh" you get back after a "when are we going to get this or that done?" the answer doesn't quite satisfy you for some odd reason.
well, thats my vent for this morning lol. wish me luck girls!

I had those pressures all day yesterday, so i was certain that the baby was engaged and ready to go, then I got checked and doct said he wasnt all the way down yet. So i dont know what Cole is doing lol..  I really hope i have him by then end of the weekend!  i cant wait to hear about your appointment today, hoping you have better luck then me and Mom2ariana had!!!

went to my appointment today.. didn't get good news either. my cervix is still only a fingertip which it has been for a long time now. and i am still 50% effaced..no change. :( the only change is that my baby has begun to come down..she is -2 station...a month ago when i was seen at l&d overnight, the doctor said she was way up in my pelvis so probably around -5 or -4. so i am happy she has started descending and that she is head down. and of course, most importantly, still healthy as far as we can tell. :)
ive started the sex & walking thing. im not going to complain if i go into labor now as some doctors view 36 weeks as full term (i'll be 36 on thursday)..but its best for her to stay until 37...and until i have her carseat finished and installed and our hospital bags packed haha.
but i'm hoping that walking and sex will help bring her down and dilate my cervix so that next week will be better news.
i've decided to have sex every night right before i go to sleep and not get up at all afterwards...that way the sperm will stay in all night and do some damage! i hope this works!! LOL

Back from my appointment.  Didnt get the best of news.  I am 1.5 cm dialated.  85% effaced.  had another u/s, doctor said he looks perfectly healthy.  breathing looked great, hes guessing 7lbs at birth.  He said he'll think about doing a membrane sweep next week.  So im hoping he will.  baby is facing upward instead of downward, but hes head down.  so doc said try turning him if i can.  he also said he would only make me go one week past my due date.  But he saids hes confident that he will come on or before his due date.  So either way ill be holding my baby in 2 weeks.. Im hoping for sooner..  Walking and sex helped with the effacing. so doct said keep it up and i should start dialating soon!  One week till my due date so excited!

Hey girls!  I had my 35 week u/s last week and the tech estimated the baby to be about 6 and 1/2 pounds.  She is not head down, she's actually laying transverse across my belly, facing the ground.  I was so surpised to hear this because I literally have had so much discomfort down there.  I could swear she is laying directly on my cervix.  Even my butt hurts!  =)  It doesn't really matter which position she is in b/c this is going to be a scheduled c-section anyway.  Tomorrow is my appointment but I don't know if my doctor is going to check me or not. I'm 36 weeks today.  I believe my c-section is going to be on May 15th, 10 days before my due date.  I'm getting excited to see her but not so excited to be going through another c-section. =(  Oh well, the pain doesn't last that long.  Talk to everyone soon!

I went to my MD appointment today.  She said I am now 2cm dialated.  She said his head is definately lower than last time.  Haven't had any contractions.  Still losing pieces of the mucus plug.  Feeling pretty cruddy, but it's due to somehow getting food poisoning (at least I suspect).  My husband got sick too.  Let me tell you that is not fun while being pregnant.  Right now I am actually hoping he stays in awhile, so I can regain my strength.  Just finally starting to drink and eat again.  Hope everyone else is making progress.  Two more weeks til due date!

my appointment is tomorrow (wednesday). I am hoping I have progressed at least a little, just for reassurance that it will happen sooner rather than later, or even past my due date!!! yuuughh
all yesterday had braxton hicks and lots of pressure in lower abdomen, almost like I should have to squeeze legs together. Anyone else feel that type of pressure? Tomorrow is a full moon, my friend predicts I will go then. lol shes always saying stuff like that.

Well, everything is going well. My doc checked my cervix and I'm 2 cm dilated. He doesn't think I'll make it to my due date (May 8). He wants to see me again on Thursday to check things out again. He could feel her head during the cervix check. Also, this was my first time being checked and it was more uncomfortable than I thought it would be. I'm excited that progress is being made. I have a growth scan on Wednesday so I'm looking forward to that. Can't wait to hear everyone else's updates.
