had pink discharge and check up today - doctor said everything is okay

On saturday night I had pink discharge when I wiped - looked like regular discharge tinged with blood, I was worried and called the on-call doctor and she said to relax the rest of the weekend and drink lots of water - which i enjoyed - dh had to take care of my 10 month old for a change!  Anyway this morning I had a checkup scheduled and they couldn't find the baby's heartbeat (which I am not worried about b/c they told me that when I made the appointment it may be too early for that)  but that everything looked good.  They did an internal exam and papsmear/culture.  Cervix checked out and uterus is measuring at 12 weeks - urine, bp heart rate and everything is good!  I am just anxious to hear this little one's heart~!

I too have been having pink/peach discharge & some red discharge recently that gets worse if I walk or sit for too long. The discharge started on 10/17 with red discharge w/clots. That same thing happened with my son when I was 11 weeks & three days & he is now a healthy 3 yeard-old. I'm currently 8 weeks & 3 days & the doctor says everything looks great in the sonogram & not to worry. We even heard the heartbeat the other day so I'm feeling confident. :-)

That's good that everything is ok. I had a little tiny bit of discharge once at 9w2d after a transvaginal ultrasound, then again once about a week ago, and then again a couple of days ago. It was very little, only when I wiped once and very light pink/peachish color. Pretty weird. I have a fetal heartbeat doppler at home and use that. I am able to hear the HB and that makes me feel better, but I can't wait for my appt this week to discuss it with my dr. It just makes me nervous when it happens. Good luck with the ultrasound :)

I was actually only 11 weeks and measuring 12 weeks - and If my due date is off like it was with my first - I am actually somewhere between 8-9 weeks at the time of appointment.  I am not worried, just anxious - I know that if you do have a miscarriage or are going to have one - there is very little that can be done for it - so  I am just going to trust in God that everything will be okay!  I'll get another doppler check in a few weeks and ultrasound in alittle over a month!

When will you have an ultrasound?? I would demand to have one asap to put my own mind at ease. I hve miscarried 2x prior to carrying this baby - so I dont mess with anything now. I have learned that for proper medical care, sometimes the docs need a push to put us at ease. I am sure everything will be fine, but I would want to see and hear the baby - and an ultrasound can detect a heartbeat at 12 weeks.
