Just wondering what pregnancy this is for everyone.

Have you told anyone that you are pregnant and if not, how long do you plan to wait?

Has anyone scheduled their first prenatal visit?

are they checking your hcg levels? that is a helpful to see if the pregnancy is continuing if the numbers are increasing at a certain rate.

when you had your ultrasound, were they able to detect a heartbeat?

after the heartbeat is detected at eight weeks, there is only a 3% chance of miscarriage.

i think the progesterone helps the cervix to stay closed and prevent miscarriage.

hey this is my 3rd pregnancy, the first 2 ended at miscarriage at 7 and 6 weeks,i had my ultrasound last week and it was very worrying for me, accordin to my LMP i should be almost 9 weeks prgnant, but the scan showed that my baby is 6 weeks 6 days big, it was very worrying even though the doctor says we must have miscalculated the LMP date, which cant be tru since i had a miscarriage on 1st of august, and a blood test on 29th of august confirmed i was 3.5 weeks pregnant, dt means i have to be more than 8 weeks right? i think the doctor just dsnt want me to worry yet, though he did mention if i gt cramps i should double my progestorone pessary dose, any1 no wt this is about?

Hi everyone! My name is Courtney and this is my third baby. I have a 5 year old son and a 4 year old daughter already. I am due May 10 and I have my first prenatal appointment on Thursday (10-06) and I will get my first u/s then. I am very excited but we are trying to keep it a secret for now. At the moment the only ones who know are my 3 closest friends, my husband's cousin (thanks to my daughter spilling the beans), my husband's parents (thanks to my daughter again! LOL), and my sister-in-law.
My sister is pregnant with her third now too (due 3 months before me) and she's not going to be all that happy that I'm pregnant too since she can be a bit of a drama queen (alright, a LOT of a drama queen! LOL) and my mother may have something to say about this one (according to her I didn't really need to have my daughter...) so we may just keep this a secret for at least another month! :D
Congratulations everyone! :D

Also, as soon as I got a BFP, I called the doctor. Went in the next day for b/w and a pelvic exam. I get to go in for my first official prenatal exam on Oct 7th. We're very excited!

Hi there,

I was due May 14th but after our ultrasound today, the date has been changed to May 19th. It sounds right because I know I ovulated late. This will hopefully, be my first child and our first child together.

This is a "Clomid Baby". My husband and I have been trying for 3 years with luck (and Clomid) this past June, found out I was pregnant. A few weeks later, I ended up miscarrying. After my D&C, the Dr told us we could start as soon as I got AF. We were never able to see our angel baby.

So far my mom, his mom and dad, my sister, my BFF, and his BFF know (plus my MH ladies). My dad doesn't even know yet. We will tell everyone else at Thanksgiving.

I hope everyone has a HH9M!!

Our second, a baby brother or sister for our 3.5 year old who wants a "big sister". I tried explaining to her that might not be possible...

I'm heading to the doc's in a few weeks since we had some hormone concerns last time. We told my parents, sister, and a close friend of mine, but we already have a few suspicious ones since I passed on the wine at a party last night. We waited until 14 weeks last time and will likely do the same again.

This is my second pregnancy, the first one ending in m/c in May '11.  We've been TTC for five years and used all sorts of fertility treatments and were told my eggs were diminished.  Now I'm 7W5D and saw the heartbeat yesterday.  I've never seen an ultrasound like that so it was really exciting!  We have a beautiful one year daughter whom we took home from the hospital when she was five days old and officially adopted her on May 20 of this year.  We're praying this baby sticks so she can have a sibling.  I have told my sis in law so far (and of course dh) but other than that, no one, not even my family.

Wow, thats great you hung in there and tried different techniques. I have no idea what that is like to go through that process. i hope everything continues to go well with you and your baby :)

This is my 4th pregnancy at least that I know of but I have two kids 4 and 2.

Havent told anyone yet no even dh. Usually tell everyone else end of first trimester.

Waiting a little bit.....we have an anniversary dinner coming up so maybe I will drop it to dh then.

Have to schedule first prenatal appmt yet. They usually like to see you around 8 weeks for blood work (yuck).
