Should I get the flu shot while pregnant?

I'm 4 months pregnant, should I or not get the flu shot? Is it safe?

I got my flu shot first prenatal visit. My doctor highly recommended it and I do too. I haven't had any flu abd I also heard that it helps baby up to six months to be protected against the flu if you get your shot while pregnant. I don't remember where I heard that one but any help I'll take it.

The CDC recommends every pregnant woman should have the flu shot.  It will help keep both you and baby more healthy.  I did hear that you want to make sure you get the injection, not the nose spray.

I would ask what it is suspended in, and decide of you really want to have mercury and formaldehyde injected into your body...
