32 lbs is not bad! You are supposed to gain between 23 and 30 lbs for your weight average. I've gained 33 at 36.4 weeks. I've heard of women who have gained way more.

Ladies its ok to gain coz at least you know that baby is also getting enough and there is excess left. I have been to my gyn a couple of times and stepping on the scale is the worst part. I have been told too many times that my weight went down and do far I have gained less than 10 pounds and am 34 weeks already baby's weight is normal for gestional age. Doc is not worried though. Trouble is I don't have hunger cues as such and I don't have any food I like - my taste buds are just terrible. There was a time I wanted to loose weight but its not now:-(

I've put on 25 kgs and im 37 weeks today. I put on the same with my first. But in different areas. I feel to fat and horrible this time. But just remember ts all worth it when you have bub. I lost 15 kg in the 2 weeks after my first was born and the other 10 in the next month. I'm hoping I can do it again and that was mainly healthy eating and breast feeding.
