My OB doctor does the first doctor appointment at 12 weeks. There is a pelvic exam, blood pressure and mine only does the doppler to listen to the heartbeat. However, the doctor couldn't find the heartbeat, so he said, "Good news, you get an ultrasound." Fortunately everything was fine, there was a heartbeat and I got to see my baby wiggle around. (I can't wait for the next one on Dec. 11, and if baby cooperates, I'll get to find out what I'm having).
It depends on the doctor and if you have been there before. I don't go to the doctor but had to at the beginning of the year for a surgery involving my ovary . So they had a little info on me but they went over my history asked about the father of the baby, had me pee in a cup, they looked at my lady parts, and took blood( well they did this my previous visit but idk if you have already done that), and well like you already know ultrasound. I'm a very natural person so I had no medical questions and didn't want any shots (which if you do take meds or have questions that's your time to ask) your doctor should also go over the flu shot. Mine was very short and I got great scores across the bored on my blood results and had fun watching the baby wiggle in the ultrasound (I also recorded the screen and have video of it moving I highly recommend bringing you phone if you can record) good luck and enjoy.
